We are going to miss Aunt Evie (and Uncle Russ). She LOVED our children and never forgot to ask about each of them. We know she lived a good long life and was very loved. She always made us feel welcome and cared for. There aren't enough people like Russ and Evie in the world...

What a pleasure it has been to care for your parents. I was always greeted with a smile & though she could have complained about her aches and pains, She always asked How you were today. I will miss her smile & stories very much. I know where she is and I hope Jesus likes gingerbread men with his coffee.
My Love & Sympathy to you all, what a treasure you had for a Mom.

A very strong Christian lady I remember going to her house many time with her daughter Faith going on rides with her and her family may God wrap his arms around her family as she on her final journey into his arms Rip Evie

I remember Evie in church, she had the best harmonizing voice & I loved hearing her. She & Russ were wonderful Christian examples & I know they are eating at the Lord's table. Rest in Peace.

So sorry for your loss! I have many many fond memories of "Evie" at Sharon Avenue. She always had a smile on Sunday's and her laugh was contagious! She always made me smile. I am happy she is at peace. Thoughts and prayers for your family.
