William (Billy) Paul Crawford, 50 of Zanesville died at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Friday, June 23, 1967 in Zanesville the son of F. William (Bill) Crawford and Mary Lou Schaller Crawford.
Billy was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and a 1986 graduate of West Muskingum High School. Billy had been employed at Bloomer Candy Company and most recently with Coconis Furniture. He was an avid sports fan especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and mostly enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
He is survived by his father, F. William "Bill" Crawford; three sisters, Suzanne Crawford, Carolyn (Bill) Schlarb, Kathy (Kim Howe) Crawford; four special nieces & nephews; Devon (Andrea) Norris, Nicholas (Lindsey) Schlarb, Jenna (Adam) Bornhorst and Maren (Jon Joodi) Schlarb; two great nephews, Lane Schlarb and Gabe Schlarb and numerous cousins. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, "Mary Lou" Crawford.
Friends may call 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, Nov. 3rd , 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. JCP Sullivan. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
