Tyler Alan Herron, 17 of New Concord went to be with the Lord at 5:05 PM Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Ross Heart Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer .
He was born on Monday, February 7, 2000 in Zanesville the son of Rick Alan Herron and Debra Sue Cummings Mumma.
Tyler was an East Muskingum School District student from kindergarten until the 11th grade until he transferred to Mid-East Career Center for a degree in diesel mechanics. Tyler enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming on his grandfather's farm. Tyler most of all enjoyed spending time with his family & friends.
He is survived by his mother, Debra Sue Cummings (Paul) Mumma of the home and his father, Rick Alan Herron of Zanesville; a sister, Heather Rene Rummer; Grandparents, Linda A. Gibbs of Zanesville and Keith N. Herron of Zanesville; a neice, Carlee Yost and a nephew, Carson Yost; several loving aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, numerous cousins, friends and his faithful golden retriever Duke Alan Herron. Tyler was preceded in death by Grandparents; Daniel Lee Cummings and Donna L. Herron.
Tyler was loved by all and will be missed dearly by all that knew him. Fly high our beautiful angel.
Friends may call 2-4 PM to 6-8 PM October 13, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the North Terrace Church of Christ with Pastor Bill Meaige and Pastor David Morrow officiating. Burial will conclude at the Rich Hill Cemetery, Herron Road, Chandlersville.
Memorial contributions can be made to the North Terrace Church of Christ.
