Suzanne Y. Omen

Suzanne Y. Omen, 67 of Zanesville died at 6:35 PM Monday, September 3, 2018 at Genesis Health Care following a sudden illness.
Suzanne gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
She was born July 2, 1951 in Zanesville the daughter of Dwight E. and Joan Y. Bryan Caton.
Suzanne was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and had worked most of her life doing clerical work for several local businesses in Zanesville. She enjoyed traveling and camping and her favorite past time was sewing. She also had pen pals all over the country that she corresponded with for nearly 50 years.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard "Rick" M. Omen, whom she married June 12, 1971; her children, Lynn (Steve) Love, Renee (Chris Huey) Lytton and Ryan Omen; 3 grandchildren, Jaycie, Parker and Kennady; step-granddaughters, Ashley Smith and Kelli Love; a sister, Lisa (Hop) Pyle; several nieces & nephews including, Jay Gooden and Brigitte (Brian West) Gooden and her many furry children. In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kassidy Lytton and a nephew Scott Pyle.
Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 6th and the funeral service held 11:00 AM Friday, September 7th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor William Blair officiating. Burial will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, East Pike.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter or the Muskingum County Dog Pound.
