Susan J. McClellan

Susan J. McClellan, 82, of Zanesville passed at 7:26 A.M. Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Genesis Hospital.
She was born on Tuesday, June 14, 1938 in Zanesville the daughter of Don and Fern Foster Lane.
Susan was a graduate of Lash High School in 1956. After high school, Susan was employed at First National Bank in Zanesville and even enjoyed performing some fashion modeling in her younger years. Susan enjoyed iconic fashion, and always liked looking her best wherever she went. Susan loved cooking and baking and enjoyed watching the cooking channels. Susan loved animals, especially cats, and frequently donated to the ASPCA.
She is survived by her brother, Dan (Pat) Lane, her two children Sarah (Ken) Stanchin, and Steve McClellan, her granddaughter, Laine Stanchin, and her step granddaughters Maggie (Ryan) Taylor and Alexandria Stanchin, her three furry felines, Frank, Drake, and Night and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert McClellan, and her niece, Shannon Lane.
Per her wishes, there will be no visitation hours observed and a caring memorial for immediate family will be held later at Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home with burial at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in Susan’s name to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society.
