Stephen Kyle Willis

Stephen Kyle Willis, 32, of Cambridge passed in the early morning hours Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home.
He was born on Tuesday, September 1, 1987 in Roanoke, Virginia the son of Eric Willis and Sharon Nichols Smith.
Stephen was a 2006 graduate of Philo High School. He worked at his uncle's auto shop, Advanced Automotive in Cambridge as a mechanic. Stephen loved animals especially his pet dog, Louise. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. Stephen loved golfing, mushroom hunting every spring, listening to music and playing his Poppy’s guitar.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon (John) Smith; father, Eric (Katrina) Willis; two siblings, Devon (Ashlei) Willis and Kelsey (Hunter) Vinsel; step-siblings, Erika Hawes and Tyler Hawes; maternal grandmother, Connie Nichols; paternal grandparents, Dave and Carol Misel; step grandparents, Shirley Smith and Jim and Linda Wilson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald "Poppy" Nichols; and step grandfather, Ralph Smith.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M.
The family asks that all visitors that wish to attend the visitation and service WEAR A MASK.
Private Burial will be held at a later date.
