ROBERT L. BOWLES

Robert “Bob” Bowles, 85 of Zanesville, OH passed away on Friday March 2, 2018 in Ft Myers, FL due to complications from an automobile accident on February 7, 2018.

Robert was born on September 18, 1932 in Morgan County, OH the son of William and Bertha Simpson Calendine Bowles.

Bob served in the US Army and retired from AEP in 1994.

Surviving is his wife Alma “Bernie” Chapman Flagg Bowles whom he married in 2005; his daughter Teresa (Joe) Neff; three grandchildren, Laura (Landon) Brooks, Jason Neff and Abby Neff; Three great grandchildren, Kaine and Claire Brooks and Ellie Neff and a brother, William (Debbie) Bowles.

Preceded in death in addition to his parents were his first wife, Annabell McInturf Bowles whom he married in 1954; his son, Michael Bowles and his sister Donna Jean (Dee) Huffman.

A memorial service was held in Florida and one will be held at a later date in Zanesville.
