She is a 1948 graduate of St. Nicholas High School. Regina was a life-long devout Catholic who believed in the power of prayer with the love and passion of the daily rosary and weekly confession. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Melkite Byzantine Catholic Church for over 40 years and more recently, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

In 1959, she met and married her husband Elias during a family trip to Lebanon. Together they owned and managed a local grocery store, R&M Market, which served the Zanesville community from 1960 to 2000. During retirement, Regina gave her time to various local philanthropies, including Right to Life, delivering meals for Christ Table and concessions at the church bingo for over 10 years. She lived her life with the pure meaning of selflessness – a giver to all, who always wanted to help those in need.
