I am so sorry for your loss. I 've known Becca since a little girl. We even went to a Rolling Stones concert in Indy despite it was not being allowed by her parents. She was son's first and only non family babysitter. She was headed to the University of Chicago and I have a video at her home receiving her grad gifts. Becca was so fun and was so loved my Sue and Larry. I will miss her ,too.

Becca,

Jason and I want to thank you for being an intrinsic piece of our puzzle. You made and helped foster so many connections. All of your work family, and it's huge, will miss you. Your crazy/ infectious laugh, plight for animal welfare, and take no shit attitude will always live on in us. You were truly one of a kind.

I'm so glad you found your Zen with Toby and your farm. It brings me such happiness thinking of you with all of those cows, goats, and chickens. Now, I think you must be sitting on the most beautiful beach with your Dad, having some beers and crab legs, and watching your dogs who've come before you have a party in the water. I hope you'll still be doing that when we meet again.

Love,
Meems

Reading these tributes, it is clear that Becca touched so many people. As much as Becca will be missed by the people she touched, this is also a huge loss for the animals of Licking County. I pray we can remember and carry on her caring ways as a tribute to her.

Perhaps it is the worst of us who most need religion to give dignity to our passing. The humanist perspective is fine and admirable, as long as your life is visibly decent. It is when we become atrocious, temporarily or permanently, that the Christian message becomes indispensable. God save her soul.

Becca was the sweetest of souls--and rebounded from many blows that were dealt to her by life. She was a wonderful, proud mom who was incredibly involved in her sons life. Becca was kind to animals, strays, and oeople often overlooked by others. She had a heart of gold and a million dollar smile. She found out a little too late about her birth mom, but it was so cool to see the smile of closure as she told me about it. There is nothing that I would not do for Zack or Becca . . . I will miss her ready smile and ability to rise from a fall and find comfort in the knowledge that she is no longer in pain--and in her legacy, the wonderful, thoughtful, animal-loving kind son she left behind.

I just want to truly give you my condolences. I got to know Becca through a friend then I got to have her be my boss for a short period. I was lucky to continue to have a friendship with this wonderful woman. I am so sorry she is gone. She is going to be missed. She was so nice to me and I am grateful to have known such a lovely woman. R.I.P. Becca.
