Rebecca "Becky" Ann Davis, 68 of Zanesville died at 7:20 A.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Licking Memorial Hospital following lengthy illnesses.
She was born November 29, 1950 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Ralph C. Best and Rose B. Jones Best.
Becky worked as a book keeper for government housing in Zanesville and Dayton, Ohio. She was also employed as a senior purchasing clerk at United Technologies. She enjoyed reading, singing, fishing and especially spending time visiting with her grandchildren and friends. Becky was a member of the American Legion.
Becky is survived by her devoted boyfriend, Ronald Spinks Jr.; a son, Bob (Gini Mayle) Davis; three grandchildren, Kraig L. Davis, Marcus D. Davis, and Maddison J. Davis; two brothers, Keith (Beckey Gates) Best and Charles (Jean) Clifford Best; a sister Darlenea Rose Best; her closest friend since 1972 Roseann Hardwick (John) Reeves; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her niece, Shauna La-Shelle Lane.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:00 PM Monday, May 6, 2019 with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park.
