Mildred “Millie” Ann Roberts (Cawthron), 77, of Zanesville passed peacefully Monday, October 25, 2021, at The Oaks at Bethesda, Zanesville, Ohio.  

Millie was born Nov. 24, 1943. She was raised in Big Springs, Texas and spent most of her life in Zanesville. Millie had many titles over her 77 years. She was a wife, daughter, sister, friend, mother, stepmother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved movies, bingo and college football.  She worked at Cedar Hill Care Center. She could be feisty and stubborn, but she was fiercely loyal and adored her family.

Millie is survived by her daughter Connie Paddock (Tim), her son Chris Roberts (Candace); her grandsons: Micaiah Paddock, Chris Roberts Jr (Amber), Zakary Howard (Jack), Tyler Long, Kaleb Roberts, her granddaughters: Kristi Paddock, Lindsay Cottrell, Madison Long, and Kylie Roberts; five great grandsons: Lucas, Noah, Zeus, Aiden and Liam and one great granddaughter: Lillian; Trina and Arlena Dunkle (self-adopted daughter and granddaughter), and many nieces and nephews. 

Millie was preceded in death by her father and mother Elmer Roy Cawthron & Drucilla "Drucie" M. Ward; her brother Eroy Cawthron; and her sisters Mary Rosson, Opal Newton and Patsy Payne.  

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Oaks at Bethesda and Central Ohio Hospice for their wonderful care of Millie in her last days.

Millie’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread in some of her favorite places. Memorial services will be determined at a later time.
