OBIT FOR: MARIAN ELIZABETH BRANSTETTER , 91
Marian Elizabeth Branstetter, 91 of Zanesville passed away at 8:35 P.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, surrounded by family at the Altercare Zanesville. She was born December 12, 1926 in Laurel, Montana, the daughter of John "Jack" Branstetter and Selma Bromer Courtney.
Marian was Catholic by faith, the oldest of 10 children and spent her life caring for people. She loved cooking and hosting dinners in her home and had a compassionate and giving heart. Marian further cared for others when she served as an HR manager for more than 30 years at Essex, United Technologies, & Lear where she never missed a day of work.
Marian had three daughters Robin Moore, Terri Johnson, and Patty Johnson-Melick(deceased).
Marian is also survived by her sisters Sharon Kush of Vancouver, WA and Susan Lane of Riverton, WY, along with 2 son-in-laws, and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she helped raise and treasured dearly.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, John(Jack) Branstetter and Selma Courtney: her siblings Thomas Branstetter Patricia Stotts, Bonnie Ahlstrom, Glen Branstetter, Howard Branstetter, Harold Branstetter, and Dorothy Mae Branstetter.
Friends may call 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with memory sharing at 4:00 PM on Sunday March 25 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
