Kevin Michael Matthews, 44 of Dresden died Friday morning, March 5, 2021 at his residence following some recent having heart related issues.
He was born November 15, 1976 in Mount Vernon the son of Lawrence Matthews and Connie Mealey Matthews.
Kevin had been employed as a prison guard in Lebanon & Mansfield in the maximum security area and also a mechanic. He especially enjoyed his community & enjoyed helping anyone he could.
He is survived by his son, Justus Matthews; mother, Connie Mealey Matthews; sisters, Jenny Matthews, MaryAnn Figgins and Kendra Shipman; and multiple nephews and nieces. Kevin was preceded in death by his father and a brother Larry Matthews.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
