Kenneth "Ken" Steven Hermen

Kenneth Steven Hermen, 64, of Nashport, passed away from an abdominal aortic aneurism on Sarturday, June 30, 2018 at his home. Ken was born on February 20, 1954 in Duncan, Oklahoma the son of Robert Fredrich Hermen and Mary Alice Lisz Hermen. Ken is survived by his three brothers: Ron (Jan), Rick, Doug of Zanesville; five sisters: Karen Groh (Rick Harrell), Shelly (Garde) Kramer, Linda (Allen) Walker of North Carolina, Diane Hermen of Zanesville, Jackie Rock of Columbus; five nephews and fives nieces; Brad (Kelli) Hermen of Pickerington, Lindsay Hermen, Jessie, Katelyn Rock of Columbus, Ashton Krofft, Alli Gilger of Zanesville, Adam (Kathleen) Kramer, Rachel Walker, Nikki, Luke, Jack Groh of North Carolina; and two great nephews; Dylan and Tyler Hermen of Pickerington. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother Bob. Ken was semi-retired, working part time at Green Valley Golf Course. He loved spending time with his family, sports, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan. Ken had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.
Cremation was chosen at Ken’s request with no calling hours being observed. The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Ken’s life.
