Kandus "Kandy" S. Hopper, 74, of Zanesville passed at 1:36 PM Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born on Sunday, July 20, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Phillip M. Strauss and Bessie M. Vousden Strauss.
In addition to her mother, Kandy is survived by her husband, Patrick J. Hopper; two sons, Dr. Scott Patrick (Stacie) Hopper and Phillip M. (Corinna) Hopper; a granddaughter, Julie M. Hopper; brother-in-law, Michael Hopper; and many cousins.
Per Kandy’s wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kandy’s name to the Animal Shelter Society, Inc. 1430 Newark Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701.
