Julie Ann Hinds, 66 of Zanesville died Saturday morning, February 17, 2024 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 18, 1957 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of William Smock and Margaret "Peg" Cain Smock.
Julie was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Genesis Healthcare & most recently at The Chestnut House in Newark. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandson.
She is survived by her son, Mark Allen Cain Hinds; a grandchild, Mark Allen Hinds II; two sisters, Rebecca Wilson, and Erin Shrimpton; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Mary and Ralph Cain and paternal grandparents, Edith and John Lenoard Smock.
No public visitation or funeral services will be observed at this time. A celebration of life service will be held later.
