Joanne E. (Miler) McIntyre

Joanne (Miller) McIntyre, 88, of Zanesville, Ohio formerly of DuBois,PA, Martinsburg, WV, and a native of Murrysville, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by family,  on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

She was born May 6, 1931 in Greensburg, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Rachael (Wiester) Miller.  She had been employed with Gibson Electric in Delmont, PA and the USDA Fruit Research in Kearneysville, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle “Bud” McIntyre, her twin sister, Jeanne, and sisters Twila and Audrey.  Joanne is survived by three daughters, Amy Whitson (Michael), Jill Allen (Michael), Nancy Nidel (Christopher), seven grandchildren Craig Whitson (Lindy), Christina Simpkins (Josh), Erin Allen, Lauren Franz (Josh), Gretchen Cowan (Devin), Matthew Hoerner (Caroline), Michael Hoerner (Emily), six great grandchildren, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held on Tuesday, April 14th at Hart Funeral Home in Murrysville, PA.
