Jo Anne L. Peadon

Jo Anne L. Saull Peadon, 91, of Zanesville was called to heaven at 3:23 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.

She was born on Friday, March 25, 1932 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of the late Fred Saull Sr. and Geraldine Winfield Saull.

Jo Anne was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She graduated from Marion Harding High School where she was a proud cheerleader and where she met the love of her life, Gene Peadon. Jo Anne was a Fire Maid for Falls Township Fire Department, loved music, line dancing, going on walks and traveling. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State University band and sports. Jo Anne devoted her life to supporting her husband, raising her kids and loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.

She is survived by two sons; Dave (Kim) Peadon and Jim Peadon; five grandchildren, Zac (Lindsay) Peadon, Aubrey (Mark) Briggs, Alayna (Justin) Dick, Lauren ( Brandon) Wright, and Shelby (Zac) Steinbrecher; nine great grandchildren, Addison, Luke, Ellie, Copen, Caroline, Riley, Porter, Quincy Jo, and Hattie; a brother Fred ( Margie ) Saull; a niece Karen ( Art ) East; three nephews, Chuck Disbennett , Bradley ( Christina) Saull, and Brian (Christina) Saull; also survived by numerous friends, including Janelle and Tina.

In addition to her parents, Jo Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene “Gene” Peadon Jr. and her sister, Barbara (Darrell “Butch”) Fleming.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Raaker officiating. Burial will conclude at the Williams Cemetery.
