Jerry Lee Pryor, 79, of Zanesville passed 8:18 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Oaks at North Pointe under Hospice of Central Ohio care. He was born August 15, 1942 in Zanesville OH the son of the late Roy L. Pryor and Margaret L. Musselman Pryor. Jerry was employed as a Car Sales Manager at Bill Swad Chevrolet. He later was owner & operator of Dillon Falls Store until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, being ornery and spending time with his family. Everyone that knew him would agree, along with his orneriness, he was very entertaining. He is survived by, two children, Andrea (Todd Smith) Pryor Callow and Patrick Pryor; two step-grandchildren, Wesley (Simi) Smith and Wyatt (Linzy) Smith and a very special great granddaughter Emery Smith; a brother Richard “Dick” Pryor several nieces & nephews; sister-in –law, Marlene Pryor Bishop and special sister-in-law Kathy Pryor; a brother-in-law, Frank Galligher; also surviving are all his extended family at the Oaks at Northpointe who loved and cared for him as if he was one of their own; two very special caregivers from Hospice of Central Ohio, Ashley Sode and Cindy Lewis. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca "Becky" J. (Mulholand) Pryor; brothers, Ronald “Ronnie” Pryor, Robert “Bob” Pryor and LeRoy “Bud” Pryor; and a sister, Marilyn Pryor Galligher. Family will receive friends form 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, November 27th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd SE, Newark OH 43055.
