James Denver Shipman, 66 of Dresden died at 11:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Thursday, September 14, 1950 in Newark, Oh the son of Horace and Immogene Knotts Shipman.
Jim was a Vietnam Marine Veteran and a retired Truck Driver, owner & operator of CJ Express Trucking. He had little time for hobbies or clubs because his entire life was truck driving & spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Connie of the home; three daughters, Kendra, Jennifer and Mary Ann; and a son, Kevin; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 8 brothers and sisters. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bubba and 2 brothers and a sister.
A private graveside service will held at a later date at the Utica Southlawn Cemetery, Utica, Ohio.
