Edward "Ed" Eugene Arbaugh

Edward "Ed" Eugene Arbaugh, 73 of Zanesville died at 8:11 AM Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his residence.
He was born January 13, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Edward Pearl Arbaugh and Mary Loise (Comer) Arbaugh.
Ed graduated from Maysville High School in 1967, he enlisted in the United States Army & served in the Vietnam War. After he was discharged from the Military, he met his future wife & they were married August of 1972. He retired in 2013 from Ohio Caterpillar where he was employed as a mechanic for over 44 years. He enjoyed traveling to Canada to fish and also enjoyed boating at Buckeye Lake & Myakka River in Florida. Ed was a member of the VFW, loved taking care of his yard and was an avid Ohio State sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean Ann Winkle Arbaugh; a daughter Stacy L (Wayne) Evans; a granddaughter, Adrean Evans; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Arbaugh & two sisters, Barbara Core & Mabel L. Ritchie.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
