I always admired Aunt Dorothy and cherished her hospitality and sense of humor. My parents, Henry and Betty Caldwell, moved our family to the Pacific Northwest in 1970, and that put an end to family get-togethers, but I only have good memories of the family gatherings at Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Bill's home, especially in the summer, when we could enjoy the swimming pool. It also was a treat to visit Connie and Christie in the summer - again an opportunity to swim! But also, a chance to enjoy their company, playing with them in their wonderful yard, and home. However, we always had to eat braunschweiger!
Aunt Dorothy was a gem, and luckily, my sister Kathy and I had a chance to visit her last summer. I'm thankful to have the memory of that visit; in many ways she was the aunt I always remembered so fondly.

Many of my best childhood memories are of times spent at ZTP doing community theatre my mom. Dorothy taught me a lot during Showboat, Annie Get Your Gun, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, and Hello, Dolly! - among others. We can't help but remember her each time we hear the music from these shows! She will be missed in our community.

Working with Dorthy was always so much fun. I will always cherish the time I spent with her at the theater.
