David Allen Clark, 70 of Zanesville died peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021 at the Red Bluff Camp Ground in Viburnum, MO.
He was born on November 12, 1950 in Zanesville, OH the son of Carl M. Clark and Betty J. (Wagner) Clark.
Dave was a former member of Chandlersville Church of Christ, an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver who had been employed at Robert Neff & Sons, Putnam Transfer & Alvan Motor Freight. After truck driving, he worked at Riesbeck’s in Zanesville for 5 years. Dave was an avid bird watcher, animal lover & enjoyed camping where he and his wife traveled all over and met many people which he thoroughly enjoyed.
He is survived by his wife, Michele “Shelly” (White) Clark, 4 children; Heather (Shawn) Myers, Amanda (Russel) Cochran, Nicholas (Sara) Clark, and Christopher (Kristin) Clark; 14 grandchildren who he dearly loved being with; Christian, Alyssa, Branden, Aliyah, Camrian, Jesse, Ryan, James, Audrey, Malachi, Madison, Alexis, Maci & Nolan; a great granddaughter, Anastacia and one on the way; 3 brothers, Terry (Chris) Clark, Randy (Carol) Clark, and Steve (Sheila) Clark; two sisters, Becky (Joe) Martin and Jeanette Dines; numerous friends including, Barb Sims & Mic Clark. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Frank Deines and a nephew Scott Deines.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 22nd with funeral service being held 11:00 AM Monday, August 23rd at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Rich Hill Cemetery, Herron Rd, Co Hwy 448, Chandlersville.
