Richard A. White, 73 of Zanesville died 5:28 AM, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born October 15, 1943 in Columbus the son of Ralph L. and Sara J. (Bish) White.
Richard was retired in management from the Trucking Industry and later worked as a sales associate at Elder-Beerman. He was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church and an exceptional cook. He really enjoyed cooking for family & friends. Richard was especially known for his famous BBQ sauce which was enjoyed by many at the Coburn Church Booth at the Muskingum County Fair.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia "Pat" S. Williams White of the home, a son, Michael (Amanda) White of Frazeysburg; Two grandsons, Luke & Jacob White; a sister, Becky Levy of Columbus; his step-children, April (Doug) Huffman, Jennifer Cannon & Jason Burris; a step-granddaughter, Angelica Wisenbarger; and a brother-in-law, Larry (Marilyn) Williams. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Buddy White.
Friends may call 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Ave. with Pastor Justin Williams officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
