Paula Grace (Santore) Fargus , 76, of  Zanesville, OH died at 6:34 PM  Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare.
She was born on February 2, 1941 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of Frank R. Santore and Pauline M. (Mavracic) Santore.
Paula was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and retired from Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority. She also was formerly employed with Heart of Ohio Girl Scout Council and West Muskingum Schools. She was a Girl Scout leader to countless girls, a member of the Tri Valley 12th Man Club, and volunteered for St. Nicholas Catholic Church where she was also a Eucharistic Minister. Paula was a friend, coach and second mom to many.
She is survived by five children, Pamela Jean (Larry) Harmon of Galena, Susan Marie Fargus of Lexington, Ky., Brian Michael (Christy) Fargus of Zanesville, Michelle Ann (Jason) Kellner of Galena, and Jennifer Lynn O'Brien of Dublin; grandchildren, Amy Harmon, Hayley Harmon, Justin (Ashley) Harmon, Jackie (Robert) Douglass, Kalie Hennessy, Brock Fargus, Luke Fargus, Ethan Kellner, Paige Kellner, Zoe Kellner, Jilaine Kellner and Allison O'Brien; great grandchildren, Riley Douglass, Poppy Douglass, Tyler Harmon: a sister, Linda DeLeonibus; brothers, Leonard (Kathy) Santore, Donald (Karen) Santore; many nieces & nephews; sisters-in-law; Margaret Rosinsky and Nancy (Bill) Asche.
Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Michael Fargus; a sister Patricia Santore; 8 brothers-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law.
Friends may call 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8pm with Christian Vigil at 7:45pm on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Burial will conclude at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Church. The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave., Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
