OBIT FOR: MARGARET "MARGIE" J. BLACKSTONE , 77
Margaret "Margie" J. Blackstone, 77 of Zanesville died at 5:15 PM Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her residence under the care of hospice.
She was born on Saturday, August 24, 1940 in Bloomfield the daughter of Reed Blackstone and Inza Patterson Blackstone.
Margie was a loving aunt to all her nieces & nephews. She enjoyed Barry Manilow music, doll collecting & bird watching.
She is survived by her two brothers; Jim Blackstone & Dwight Blackstone; her nieces & nephews; Gary Blackstone, Roger Blackstone, Beverly Blackstone, Brenda Beardsley, Linda Blackstone, Gloria Blackstone, Candy (Rocky) Buchanan, Sharon Scott, Russell (Cathy) Scott, Mary (Jim) Reynolds, Beth Scott, Robbie (Kristen) Scott and her special niece, caregiver & best friend, Karen Scott; and several great & great, great nieces & nephews; & her pet bird "Barry". Margie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Scott & a brother Vernon Blackstone.
Friends may call 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will conclude at the Bloomfield Cemetery, New Concord, Ohio.
