Kevin Alan Bunting, 62, of Zanesville died at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born on November 5, 1955 in Zanesville, OH the son of the late Paul R. and Marlene Walters Bunting.
Kevin was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and the FOP. He worked at the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department as a dispatcher from 1976 until he retired in 2004. He loved hunting and fishing and looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Canada. He enjoyed tending to his property, feeding the wild animals and taking care of his farm. He practiced land management and soil and water conservation.
He is survived by two sisters; Pamela (Randy) Bishop and Paula (Wayne) Dailey; an aunt, Martha Parsons of Huntington Beach, California; and several cousins. He will be dearly missed by his good friends, Benny Woerner, Alan Hanes, Doug Wilson, Jim Peadon, Dave Suciu and Jeff LeCocq.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Ruth Bunting and Roy and Virginia Walters; and an Uncle Paul Parsons.
Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Ferguson officiating. Burial will conclude at the St. Paul Cemetery, Zanesville.
