Glenna L. Heskett, 82 of Zanesville died at 5:20 PM Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Beckett House at New Concord.
She was born on September 24, 1935 in Bethesda, Ohio the daughter of Merle Wharton and Thelma McKinley Wharton.
Glenna was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a homemaker who enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
She is survived by her two sons, Ray (Eva) Heskett of Zanesville and Roy (Linda) Heskett of Norwich; grandchildren, Kelly R. (Drew Craig) Heskett, Andrew C. Heskett, Kayla N. (Kyle) Runyon, Emily (John) Wolfe, John (Vaughn Cobb) Heskett; Great granddaughters; Madison Heskett, Gracie Wolfe and Anna Wolfe; a brother, John Wharton of Barnesville. Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, William Richard "Dick" Heskett, and a brother William "Billy" Wharton.
Friends may call 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday January 22nd at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. A private graveside service will conclude at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
