Barbara S. Miller, 72, of Zanesville, passed away at Sterling Transitional Suites Friday April 21, 2017.
She was born August 12, 1944 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Garth and Virginia “Hap” Bollinger Wilson. Barbara retired as manager of Ohio Education Credit Union, former director of Admitting at Genesis Hospital and previously worked for Armco Steel Credit Union. Hobbies Barbara enjoyed were baking, crocheting, camping, gardening and dancing. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella at St. Nicholas, worked in the gift shop with the Good Samaritan Charity Circle, YWCA Board member and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years Robert D. Miller, children: Patricia Ann Boggs of Zanesville, Christine Marie Miller of the home, Robert D. (Jacala) Miller Jr. of Zanesville, grandchildren: Jennifer (Joe) Baker, Andrea Boggs (fiancé: Alex Edwards), Alex Miller, Marlee Andrews, brothers: Donald (Edie) Wilson and Larry (Connie) Wilson, brothers and sisters-in-laws: Ron (Karen) Miller, Vicki (Pete) Rapol, Bill (Marie) Miller and Eve Miller, father-in-law: Howard Miller and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, son: Michael D. Miller, sister and brother-in-law: Connie (Russ) Stalling, brother-in-law: Rick Miller and mother-in-law: Florence Miller.
Visitation for Barbara will be 2:00 – 5:00 Sunday April 23, 2017 with Christian Vigil service at 5:00 PM at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Monday April 24, 2017 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
